An 80uW, 10MHz, 67 ppm/degree CMOS Reference Clock Oscillator with a Temperature Compensated Loop in 0.18um CMOS

Abstract
A 10MHz, 80É W CMOS reference clock oscillator is presented in 0.18É m CMOS. The proposed oscillator employs a supply-regulated ring-oscillator in a temperature compensated feedback loop which minimizes the frequency sensitivity to supply and temperature variations. The clock oscillator implemented in 0.18É m CMOS achieves frequency variation of less than ±0.05% with 1.2V to 3V supply and ±0.4% with -20degree to 100degree of temperature variation, both of which are the lowest among the recently reported low power CMOS reference clock oscillators.
