2011 Symposia on VLSI Technology and Circuits will meet in Kyoto as planned!
We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to the friends and colleagues across the globe for their sympathy and heartfelt support and assistance.
Kyoto, where the Symposia will take place, and related airports are located in the western part of Japan--more than 500 km away from the area hit by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami, and the nuclear power plant in Fukushima.
Please be assured that Kyoto is unaffected and peoples life in the city has been peaceful as usual. There are no blackouts or shortage of necessities.
