Advanced registration is closed.
On-site registration will be available at the registration desk, located in front of the room “Kurama” on the 2nd floor , Rihga Royal Hotel Kyoto.

Registration Guidelines

The VLSI Symposia encourages all participants to register online. All payments must be made in Japanese Yen by credit card or bank transfer. To avoid any trouble, please DO NOT register more than once.

The deadline for the Early Registration is May 10. On or after May 11, and on or before May 29, registration will be processed only at the Late Registration fee.
The final advanced registration deadline is May 29, 2019. After May 29, please register on-site.

!Attention!

The Symposia on VLSI Technology and Circuits have fully aligned the symposia schedule. All Short Courses are on Monday, June 10, and Plenary Talks and regular presentations are from Tuesday, June 11 to Thursday, June 13.

We will have new program: Sunday Workshop in the evening on Sunday, June 9.

(1) Registration Fee

Printed Digest / Proceedings

*1: Regular registration fees for “Symposia on VLSI Technology and Circuits” include Joint Banquet.
Student registrations include Joint Banquet on complimentary basis.
*2: Please note that All Short Courses are held at the same time on Monday, June 10.
*3: Friday Forum registration NOT include Friday Evening Event.
Friday Forum attendee and additional persons can register for Friday Evening Event.
Registration fees for Friday Evening Event cost JPY 3,000 per person.
Friday Evening Event is limited to 120 persons on a first-come-first-served basis.
*4: Symposia Luncheon Talk is limited to 90 persons on a first-come-first-served basis.
*5: The main symposium attendee or the short course attendee can attend Sunday Workshop on Sunday, June 9.
*6: Symposia registration fees NOT include Printed Digest.
Printed Digest cost JPY 3,000 each.
*7: Short Course registration fees NOT include Printed Proceedings.
Short Course Printed Proceedings cost JPY 2,500 each.
Note:
In 2019, both Symposia on VLSI Technology and Circuits will be fully overlapped and will start on Monday June 10 at the same location. A single registration allows participants to attend both Symposia.

The registration fees entitle the registrant to the followings;

(2) Payment

All payments must be made in Japanese Yen by credit card or bank transfer. Please complete the payments no later than May 10 for the Early Registration. The Late Registration fees are requested to be paid before May 29, 2019.

1. Bank transfer to VLSI Symposium.

2. Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard, Diners Club, AMEX or JCB).
Only cash (Japanese Yen) or credit cards will be accepted at the onsite Registration Desk.
* For receipt, you can download the PDF of receipt from your account after online registration and payment.

(3) Confirmation

If you have paid the registration fees by credit card, a payment confirmation e-mail will be sent to your registered e-mail address automatically.
If you pay the registration fees by bank transfer, a reply e-mail will be sent to your registered e-mail address. After confirming your payment, a payment confirmation e-mail will be sent by the Secretariat.
Please keep the payment confirmation e-mail and present at the registration desk to receive the Symposium materials.
If you do not receive any e-mail message within 24 hours, please contact the Secretariat.

(4) Cancellation

In case of cancellation, please send a message by email or fax to the Secretariat Japan.
The following cancellation fees will apply based on the date when the Secretariat Japan receives your cancellation notification.

Date of Cancellation Cancellation fee
On or before May 29, 2019 JPY 5,000 plus bank handling charge
After May 29, 2019 100% of the amount of payment (no refund)

Refunds will be made after the Symposia.
A bank handling charge will be deducted from the amount of refund respectively.

(5) Inquiries for Visa documentation

The organizer will prepare the documents that should be prepared by the inviting person in Japan and send them to you.
If you require the document from the organizer to obtain a visa enter Japan, please contact the VLSI 2019 Visa Support Office, who takes care of the documentation.

Before applying for assistance, you are required to take the following steps.

  1. 1. Complete your registration with full payment of the fee
  2. 2. Book a flight
  3. 3. Reserve a hotel

* The period of your stay must be scheduled for a maximum of 2 weeks (including conference period [4 days], arrival and departure day in Japan).
