Sunday Workshop 2

Sunday Workshop

Workshop on Two Dimensional Materials and Applications

Organizer:
Iuliana Radu (imec, Belgium)

Abstract / objectives:
This workshop is going to outline the state of the art for 2D materials going from growth and process steps to devices and modeling. We will discuss and argue that 2D materials could provide a path towards very aggressive transistor device scaling and for transistors in interconnect. We will analyze other possible application of 2D materials such as optoelectronics and heat transport. Through the workshop, we will try to provide a comprehensive and concise overview of the field of 2D materials.
