Vivek De – 2014 Circuits Symposium Chair
On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to invite you to attend the 2014 Symposium on VLSI Circuits. This Symposium is held alternate years in Japan and the US, and in 2014 we will once again return to the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Honolulu, Hawaii. It will be our 12th Circuits Symposium in Hawaii, and the 28th year of the conference.
The Symposium on VLSI Circuits is recognized as one of the premiere international conferences and is held in conjunction with the Symposium on VLSI Technology. The unique co-location of these two Symposia provides the opportunity to span the whole range of topics spanning process technology to Systems-on-Chip. In an era when collaboration between transistor, circuits, and system designers is critical to innovation, this conference enables attendees to gain a broad understanding of the latest advances that will drive the industry forward.
The Symposia also offer short courses and panel sessions conducted by leaders in the field from both industry and academia. Attendees get the opportunity to learn about and discuss topics of major interest to VLSI industry with the visionaries and strategists driving the next generations of VLSI technology. In addition, invited plenary talks from renowned leaders in industry and academia provide an opportunity to learn about key future trends in various fields.
The rich technical content of the Symposia ranging from the in-depth technical papers on the latest advances, to the invited presentations, panels, short courses and workshops in critical areas, will be an experience that will provide significant value to both attendees and their employers from industry and academic institutions across the world.
